When do I have to pay shipping fees?

Shipping fees will be incurred by all backers who haven't covered them already, by adding extra credit to the pledge level credit during or after the kickstarter. For example: If a 68$ tier backer only backed 68$, an additional fee of 15$ will be required for shipping.

Backers in physical reward tiers will have flat rate shipping fees, meaning that they can order extra items from the shop if they choose to, but they will not have to pay extra shipping fees for these.

Backers from digital reward tiers will be able to buy physical rewards from the shop and shipping fees are calculated per item in that case.

**When should I upgrade to the All Digital Pledge Level?**

We have implemented the possibility of forgoing all physical rewards. The physical reward tiers however, have flat rate shipping fees. If you decide to forgo all your physical rewards and want to avoid being asked for the shipping fee, please upgrade to the all digital pledge level. The instructions on how to do this are included at the end of the survey sent to each backer from a physical reward tier.

**I am from USA. Do I have to pay shipping fees?**

Initially we planned to centralize all orders in the US and ship everything from there. Back then, shipping fees were very low, so we intended not to charge any to North American backers. By now however, this has changed and we are bulk shipping both to the UK and US and ship from there - but we still pay a hefty sum for shipping and packing. Thus, shipping fees will apply in both cases and are handled as flat rates for all shipping tiers.

**My pledge credit was lower/higher than the tier I am in. Why has it been modified?**

The backers who had credits lower than the limit of the pledge level they are in, have most probably been upgraded from F2P Tiers which no longer exist. Given that there will no longer be any F2P tiers, we have upgraded all backers to the respective campaign tier.

The backers who picked a tier but pledged more than the limit of this pledge level + shipping and did not make any special agreements with Cliffhanger, had their credits set to the actual tier limit (+ shipping if it was the case) so as not to confuse backerkit.

**Where are the updates that are included in my pledge tier? Why don't they show up in my Steam library?**

If your pledge tier includes 1,2 or all the updates, this means that you should have access to them. This is how we have handled the distribution of DLC content:

We have sent out an e-mail to all backers who should receive digital rewards in April 2015, with the subject "Shadowrun Chronicles - Your Digital Rewards". This e-mail includes a coupon code for in-game rewards and eventually download links and instructions for getting the DRM Free soundtrack and PDF campaign book. The coupon code can be redeemed at the game's launcher by using the coupons button.

If the coupon has been redeemed and your tier includes any or all updates, the content for these updates becomes unlocked in the game. Please note that this does not appear as extra DLC in your Steam DLC list, since it is handled per coupon.

So far we have released 2 Add-ons: the Infected and Missions DLCs. The content for these Add-ons becomes available in-game at a point past the Boston Lockdown main campaign. To see the repeatable and Infected missions you need to have a character who has reached the end of the main campaign. The repeatable missions appear on the world map after finishing the campaign. The Infected missions can be received by talking to the Drone in the hub by the sewers.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
